Jessica Leigh Stroup (born October 23, 1986) is an American actress and fashion model. She is regarded as a scream queen for starring in the horror films Prom Night, Vampire Bats , Left in Darkness and The Hills Have Eyes 2. Stroup was born in Anderson, South Carolina, the daughter of Judy and Don Stroup, a senior vice president at Wachovia. Stroup was offered a scholarship to attend the University of Georgia, but turned it down to pursue an acting career. She co-starred in the 2007 sequel film The Hills Have Eyes 2. in 2008, she played the role of Claire in the remake of Prom Night.
