Just yesterday, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham welcomed their fourth child to the world. And her name was made official on Facebook, Harper Seven Beckham. Curiously enough, the name has been the center of controversy, as to it’s origin and reason for being chosen. To date, there are currently two running theories. Of course, neither have been confirmed.
The first is the simpler and more conventional of the couple. It holds that Harper is an English name from the older times that Victoria Beckham has always liked, and that Seven is just a lucky number. OK. The second is more of the conspiracy theory in variety. This theory claims that Harper could have it’s origins in the author of the famous novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, whose name is Harper Lee. Surely, that is a bit of stretch, but maybe the Beckhams are big Lit fans. As for Seven, it was the number David Beckham wore on the English national team.
